“I've worked for GFR since I was 16 . I started at Happy Daz when I was 15 and a 1/2 then moved to Market St. Beer Barrel. After leaving for other opportunities I found my way back at 18 and have worked at Dixie Highway ever since! I started out rolling dough there and then moved to all other positions throughout the kitchen. After last year (2023) I stepped into a Supervisor position and have loved every minute of it I continue to learn new things every day and can't wait to see what the future holds for me here at GFR!”

I started at Happy Daz on West back in 2016 when I was able to first get a job. I worked my way from a simple crew member up to Assistant GM. I've worked at multiple locations in Happy Daz through my way up. It taught me how diverse even one city can be. I'm thankful for the customer relationship's I've built over the years as well. I was a very shy person at first but, the crew and management team I've had helped me open up and become a great worker in customer service, a fast-paced backline worker, and to have the leadership that can run a successful shift. I have learned so much in the past 8 years from managers, other coworkers, and even customers. My experience here has helped me grow into a successful adult. If I could go back to 2016, I would tell my teenage self that this place will get you somewhere just give it the time and effort. I'm very grateful for all the management that gave me a kick in the butt to be great at what I do and to do nothing but improve.
